Caryn Symons, Director of Camping
Caryn is no stranger to the JCC. In addition to 9 years as a teacher
of all ages in the Nursery School, she has been a Head Counselor at
Camp Gadol for 4 years and took over as Director of Camping in 2010.
Caryn brings her own brand of creativity, enthusiasm and community
spirit that enriches each child's camp experience. Caryn received
her Masters Degree in Education from Queens College and was an award
winning High School Guidance Counselor before raising her two sons,
who are both alumni of the JCC Nursery School and Camp. Contact
