New Program!
Toward Tomorrow at Camp Gadol
5-10 Year Olds
Spending the summer making friends and having fun is
what camp is all about. Coming together under the leadership of
experienced teachers children, ages 5 - 10 years old, will enjoy a
variety of experiences. Children from both Toward Tomorrow and Camp
Gadol programs will be grouped together according to their age and
abilities. There will be two possible programs available. All
children applying for this program must have an interview. Group
placements will be decided upon after your child’s interview.
Some children will spend their whole day in a Camp
Gadol group with the support of an experienced staff member. Others
will gather together in small groups with Camp Gadol friends for
part of the day and spend the remaining time working as a
team with Toward Tomorrow staff.
Combining the best of opportunities and utilizing the
outstanding facilities of the JCC and/or Temple Israel of New
Rochelle, a team of professional staff and talented
specialists have developed a rich curriculum organized into weekly
themes. Music, art, literature, sports, crafts, nature, gymnastics
and swim are some of the highlights of our weekly activities.
Included in your camp fee is a daily hot lunch (with alternative
choices) that will be provided to all campers. No peanut or peanut
products will be offered for lunch or snack. If your child has a
special diet please contact us.
